After the storm

 

No cabe duda de que la cuarentena fue algo muy repentino, perdidas repentinas, meses sin ver a nuestras amistades y seres queridos. Ha sido dificil, ¿verdad? Para mí lo fue. Tantos meses sin ver a esas personas que quiero, sin salir a los lugares a los que frecuentaba, el encierro indefinido. Al igual que todo, esto tiene lados positivos. Muchas veces nos olvidamos de lo que en verdad importa, dejamos de lado a nuestra familia, incluso, a tí mismo.

Debo admitirlo, tuve mucho tiempo libre durante este proceso, pero me alegra que haya sido así. La cuarentena me ayudó a reflexionar sobre muchas cosas, una de ellas fue conocerme mejor y descubrir nuevos gustos.   

Uno de esos descubrimientos fue la canción "After de Storm" de Kali Uchis en colaboración con Bootsy y Tyler, The Creator.

La primera vez que escuché esta canción, lo primero que hice fue buscar la letra, al leerla, me di cuenta de lo significativa que es. En ese momento estaba algo triste, pero esta canción me hizo pensar en lo afortunada que soy y que puedo lograr lo que me proponga (aún cuando hay momentos difíciles. Así que tenlo en cuenta, si necesitas un héroe, sé tu propio héreo.
